ABOUT

San Diego Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine Fellowship is an ACGME accredited, evidence-based clinical and research fellowship program that started in 1992.

We offer a one-year training program in orthopaedic sports surgery.

The curriculum is designed to instruct fellows on the advanced care of patients with sports-related disorders including but not limited to arthroscopic and arthroscopically-assisted shoulder, knee, ankle, hip and elbow procedures.

APPLICATION

All applications for San Diego Arthroscopy & Sports Medicine Fellowship are through San Francisco Match Program.

The interview process timetable is developed with AOSSM and usually takes place 15 months before the start of the fellowship year.

Interview Timeframe: January-March

CURRICULUM

Our primary educational goal is for each fellow to achieve independence and competence in the advanced care of the injured athlete. All interactions between fellows and staff are designed around this educational objective.
